Unicaja offers interest‑free loans to fire‑affected families in Zamora and León
Unicaja has launched an extraordinary financing line with 0% interest for customers harmed by the recent forest fires in the Spanish provinces of Zamora and León. The scheme provides two complementary products: a rehabilitation loan that can cover up to 80% of rebuilding costs for homes, farms or vehicles with repayment terms of up to five years, and an advance‑indemnity loan that can front up to 90% of the insurance settlement for up to 12 months, extendable if needed.
The initiative targets families, self‑employed workers, SMEs, farmers and livestock owners in the affected municipalities – Fermoselle in Zamora and San Cipriano del Condado, Veguellina and Valdelaloba in León. Applications can be processed at any Unicaja branch, where specialised managers evaluate each case. In partnership with insurer Caser, Unicaja also provides a dedicated phone line (91 354 30 30) to accelerate claim handling and communication with the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros.
