Unicamp grants fee waivers to 7,915 candidates for 2027 entrance exam
The University of Campinas (Unicamp) announced that 7,915 out of 8,810 applicants received tuition‑free registration for the 2027 Vestibular exam, including the Enem‑Unicamp track. Most waivers (6,188) were awarded to students from public schools with family incomes up to 1.5 minimum wages, followed by 933 scholarships for private‑school students, 749 for night‑time licensing or technology courses, and 45 for Unicamp and Funcamp employees.
Recipients will receive an email with a code that guarantees free enrollment; the code does not automatically register them. Vestibular applications open online on August 3 and run through August 31, while Enem‑Unicamp enrollment is scheduled for October. Applicants whose requests were denied may appeal via an online form until 17:00 BRST on August 3, with decisions released on August 7.
