Unicaribe completes ICONTEC audit for ISO 9001 certification renewal

Unicaribe (Institución Universitaria del Caribe) has successfully completed an external audit conducted by the Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification (ICONTEC). The audit took place between September 9 and 11 in Ciénaga, Magdalena, as part of the institution's process to renew its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification and expand its institutional scope.

The evaluation covered academic and administrative processes at both the Centro Histórico headquarters and the Costa Verde Campus. The audit included the design and delivery of higher education services across the Faculties of Engineering, Administrative, Economic and Accounting Sciences, and Humanities. Additionally, the review assessed teaching, research, extension, and social projection functions, alongside strategic and support processes.
