Unicaribe holds meeting to unify academic processes in 17 municipalities

Unicaribe (Institución Universitaria del Caribe) held its First Regionalization Meeting in Ciénaga to unify academic and administrative processes across the 17 municipalities where it operates. Led by Rector Leonardo Pérez Suescún, the two-day event brought together senior management, deans, program leaders, and territorial representatives from various tutorial centers and development sites.

The meeting focused on standardizing operational management to ensure consistent service quality. Key agenda items included legal and institutional compliance, monitoring teaching performance, and optimizing student registration processes related to the state's Gratuitousness Policy. Additionally, the institution worked on evaluating key indicators for its institutional renewal process and provided training in collaborative work and public management excellence.

The sessions aimed to reduce operational discrepancies between the central headquarters and regional teams, moving toward common standards for academic and administrative operations. The event concluded with a tour of the Costa Verde Campus to review infrastructure and technological advancements.
