UNICARIBE shortlisted for QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026

Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) has been shortlisted for the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026 in the Access, Diversity & Inclusion category. The recognition is for its 'HE 4 ALL – Higher Education Designed for Everyone' project.

Developed through its MEDUC educational model, the HE 4 ALL ecosystem aims to reduce barriers to higher education access, retention, and success. The model is specifically designed to support adult learners, working individuals, students with disabilities, and those facing economic or geographic challenges. Key features include monthly course modules, flexible scheduling from Monday to Sunday, and a hybrid of in-person and virtual learning environments.

Additional support mechanisms include 100% scholarships for students with disabilities, accessible digital content via Blackboard Ally, and personalized academic tutoring. Out of 2,226 international applications, the project was placed within the top 25% of submissions. The final phase of the awards and conference is scheduled to take place in London from December 6 to 8.
