Unicas to host workshop on university journalism and editorial models

The University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Unicas) will host a workshop on Friday, October 30, at the Campus Folcara. The event, held in the 'Gabriella Braga' reading room of the 'Giorgio Aprea' Humanities Library, aims to foster dialogue between university publications, journalists, and public communicators.

The workshop will focus on comparing different editorial models, sharing best practices, and exploring new forms of collaboration. Key topics include the relationship between academic research and the media system, the value of university information, and the potential for building a network of editorial offices to strengthen the role of knowledge in public discourse.

The event will feature institutional greetings from Rector Marco Dell’Isola and Gianluca Lauta, Director of the Department of Letters and Philosophy. Francesco Iacoviello, Pro-Rector for Digital Communication, will present an integrated communication project for Unicas, and Luciano Fontana, Director of Corriere della Sera, will discuss the importance of university information in interpreting contemporary reality.
