Unicat in Natal expands service hours to include Sundays and holidays

The Central Unit of Therapeutic Agents (Unicat) in the Tirol neighborhood of Natal has expanded its operating hours to include Sundays and holidays. Announced by the Rio Grande do Norte State Health Secretariat (Sesap), the change aims to facilitate access to specialized medications provided by the Unified Health System (SUS).

From Monday to Saturday, the unit operates from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. On Sundays and holidays, service is available from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This expansion applies specifically to the Tirol location; the Alecrim unit and facilities in the state's interior maintain their regular schedules.

Despite the extended hours, prior appointment remains mandatory. Patients must schedule their visits through the official Sesap electronic system to ensure organized service and avoid unnecessary travel.
