UNICEN announces new logistics course and communication restructuring

The Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNICEN) is implementing new academic and administrative initiatives. UNICEN Quequén has opened registration for a free hybrid course titled ‘Business Strategy and Logistics Operations’. Running from mid-August to late November, the program is designed for professionals, technicians, and students, focusing on practical applications such as optimization models, linear programming, and computer simulation to improve decision-making in supply chain management.

Additionally, UNICEN is considering a proposal to establish a Regional Communication Directorate. This initiative aims to coordinate communication efforts across its various campuses in Tandil, Olavarría, Azul, and Quequén. The goal is to create an integrated institutional agenda and strengthen the public communication of science without standardizing the unique voices of each local campus. The structure would also focus on digital transformation and improving internal communication across the university’s distributed territories.
