UNICEN receives donated apartment for student housing in Azul

A family from Azul has donated the use of an apartment to the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNICEN) to serve as a student residence. The property has been integrated into the university’s Residence Scholarship Program, which provides housing for students who must relocate to attend their degree programs.

The initiative was established following discussions between the family and Liliana Monterroso, the Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy, regarding the need to support students who move from their hometowns to pursue higher education. The agreement was formalized on July 17 through a loan-for-use contract (comodato) signed at the Rectorate.

The residence is already occupied by two students. Access to the housing is managed through an application and selection process conducted by the university's technical team.
