Unidade Hospitalar de Chaves receives ‘Marca Recomendada 2026’ award

The Unidade Hospitalar de Chaves, part of the Unidade Local de Saúde de Trás Montes e Alto Douro (ULSTMAD), has been awarded the ‘Marca Recomendada 2026’ distinction. The award, presented by Portal da Queixa CEO Sónia Lage Lourenço to Board President Sara Mota, is based on consumer experience and user evaluations rather than a formal jury or application process.

Sara Mota noted that the recognition reflects recent efforts to improve the facility, including the renovation of spaces, the acquisition of new equipment, and the strengthening of medical teams. Additionally, ULSTMAD and Portal da Queixa signed a cooperation protocol to provide the Citizen Offices in Chaves, Lamego, and Vila Real with new tools to monitor and interact with user feedback.
