Prysmian completes 850 million euro capital increase for Atkore acquisition

Prysmian, a major cable and telecommunications systems group listed on the FTSEMib, has completed a reserved capital increase. The operation involved the issuance of 7,024,793 new ordinary shares, representing approximately 2.4% of the pre-increase capital.

The shares were placed with qualified or institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuilding procedure at a unit price of 121 euros, totaling approximately 850 million euros. This price includes a 2.1% discount relative to the closing value of September 10, 2026.

The proceeds from this capital increase will be used to partially finance the acquisition of the US-based group Atkore, an all-cash transaction valued at approximately 3.8 billion dollars (about 3.3 billion euros). This move is intended to help Prysmian maintain its investment-grade profile.
