Unidentified homicide victims found in Tamaulipas and Michoacán, Mexico
An unidentified man was discovered dead on the Tampico‑Mante highway near the ejido Maclovio Herrera in Altamira, Tamaulipas. Police and forensic investigators say the victim showed multiple injuries consistent with being struck by a cargo vehicle. The body was taken to the local Servicio Médico Forense for autopsy while authorities continue the search for identification.
In a separate incident in Michoacán, a second unidentified male, aged about 30‑40, was found on the old road to Acahuato in the municipality of Apatzingán. The corpse displayed clear signs of violence and was discovered with a plastic bag placed over the head. Local police secured the scene and the body was also transferred to the regional forensic service for examination. Both cases remain under investigation by municipal police and the state prosecutor’s office.
