Unidentified luminous objects reported in Argentina and Uruguay

Recent reports from South America have highlighted sightings of unidentified luminous objects in the skies of Argentina and Uruguay.

In Caá Catí, Argentina, participants at a cultural event held at the Km 0 Polo Cultural de los Esteros captured images of a light with a shape similar to a spacecraft. Using infrared night vision equipment, organizers documented the phenomenon near the Santa Lucía estuary. This follows a similar sighting recorded in the same area on June 19, positioning the locality as a point of interest for regional ufological research and astronomical tourism.

In Paysandú, Uruguay, witnesses near the Casa Blanca area observed bright points of light exhibiting turning movements. This event mirrors previous sightings in Termas de Almirón and Guichón in 2023, which prompted an investigation by the Uruguayan Air Force's Cridovni commission. That previous investigation concluded that the lights observed were Starlink satellites owned by SpaceX.
