Unidos do Jacarezinho appoints Cadu as carnavalesco for 2027

The samba school Unidos do Jacarezinho has announced the return of artist Cadu as its carnavalesco for the 2027 Carnival. This marks a reunion between the artist and the community following their successful collaboration in 2025.

Under Cadu’s direction, Unidos do Jacarezinho won the Silver Series title in 2025 with the theme ‘Eureka! E fez-se a luz!’, which secured the school's promotion to the Gold Series and a return to the Marquês de Sapucaí. Cadu recently received the Plumas & Paetês award for best carnavalesco of the 2026 Silver Series for his work with São Clemente.

The school intends for this appointment to be part of a period of reconstruction and renewal. The specific theme for the 2027 parade will be announced by the organization in the near future.
