Unifranz updates curricula for 17 degree programs
Unifranz (Universidad Franz Tamayo) has implemented a comprehensive redesign of the curricula for its 17 degree programs across five faculties. The update aims to align professional training with current labor market demands, focusing on practical competencies, soft skills, and micro-credentials.
Alejandro Zegarra Saldaña, Deputy Vice-Rector of Unifranz Santa Cruz, stated that the evolution of the academic plans resulted from a diagnostic process regarding the skills required by companies and society. The new structure maintains the institution's 'learning by doing' methodology. Current students may choose to switch to the new curriculum, while new students will enter directly under the redesigned programs.
In conjunction with these academic changes, the university launched a new advertising campaign titled ‘Rumores’ (Rumors), developed by the agency VIBE. The campaign uses situational humor and irony to address workplace myths and stereotypes, positioning practical academic preparation as the legitimate driver of professional success rather than social influence or favoritism.
