Unilever recalls Pot Noodle due to undeclared milk

Unilever has issued a recall for Pot Noodle Piri Piri Chicken Flavour due to undeclared milk in the product. While the packaging includes a “may contain” warning for milk, the specific batch contains milk as an ingredient, posing a health risk to individuals with milk allergies or intolerances.

The affected product is the 90g size with batch code L6232PB796 and a best before date of May 2027. These items have been sold at major supermarkets, including Tesco, Asda, and Iceland.

Unilever stated that other batches and Pot Noodle products are not affected. The Food Standards Agency advises customers with milk allergies not to consume the product and to return it to the place of purchase for a refund. Consumers can also contact Unilever’s UK Consumer Careline for guidance.
