Unimed boosts sponsorship of América Futebol Clube and Vôlei Renata

Unimed São José do Rio Preto has renewed a historic partnership with América Futebol Clube, signing a 12‑month sponsorship that provides financial support for the club’s season and reinforces the cooperative’s commitment to regional sport development. The agreement follows a relationship that began in the 1990s and is part of Unimed’s broader strategy to promote health, community engagement and local athletics.

Separately, Seguros Unimed, the insurance arm of the Sistema Unimed, announced a two‑season sponsorship of the Vôlei Renata men’s volleyball team for 2026/27 and 2027/28 under Brazil’s Federal Sports Incentive Law. The deal expands Unimed’s presence in the country’s most popular sports—football and volleyball—by funding high‑performance training, youth development and social projects that serve more than 700 children annually. The team, a recent South American champion and multiple‑time state title holder, will benefit from resources covering infrastructure, nutrition, travel and multidisciplinary support.
