Unión Cívica Radical honors Ricardo Balbín on 45th anniversary of his death

The Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) of Buenos Aires province, alongside the Permanent Commission to Honor Dr. Ricardo Balbín, held a ceremony to mark the 45th anniversary of the historical political leader's death.

The tribute was led by Emiliano Balbín, president of the UCR Provincial Committee, who emphasized the enduring relevance of the late leader's political trajectory. Other attendees included national party leader Leonel Chiarella, local radical leader Federico Ayllon, and Mayor Julio Alak.

Speakers during the event called for the defense of democratic institutions, freedom, and social equality. Emiliano Balbín highlighted the importance of political consensus and national unity, stating that Balbín's legacy encourages a commitment to strengthening democracy through dialogue rather than confrontation.
