Unión Cívica Radical launches municipal political training schools

The Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) is launching municipal political training schools in the Argentine districts of Bragado and 9 de Julio to foster civic participation and leadership.

In Bragado, the “Dr. José Ramón Maffassanti” School of Councilors and School Counselors aims to provide institutional and political training to the community, regardless of party affiliation. The program focuses on teaching the mechanics of the Deliberative Council, municipal administration, budgeting, and provincial financial regulations. Coordinator Gabriel Suárez emphasized that democracy is strengthened when participants understand institutional responsibilities before assuming office.

Similarly, the UCR in 9 de Julio has established a Municipal Political Training School. This initiative is designed to engage individuals interested in local politics, even those without prior experience. The curriculum includes municipal economy, legislative practice, political communication, and local development, aiming to prepare new leaders to address the challenges of local management and public services.
