Unión de Brigadas removes separatist propaganda in Catalonia

The association Unión de Brigadas has conducted a series of actions to remove separatist political propaganda from public spaces across nine Catalan municipalities. The locations included La Garriga, Vilada, Torrelles de Llobregat, Anglés, Cornellà del Terri, Mediñá, Santa Coloma de Farners, Sarriá de Ter, and Seva.

Operating through voluntary and altruistic work, members of the group remove political materials from streetlights, traffic signs, and other urban furniture. The organization maintains that public spaces should serve as neutral meeting points for all of society. Additionally, the group has criticized local administrations for a perceived failure to fulfill their duties, alleging that municipal governments tolerate or ignore the placement of symbols that violate current regulations.
