Unión del Pueblo Leonés demands emergency ambulance for Toro

The political party Unión del Pueblo Leonés (UPL) is demanding that the Junta de Castilla y León provide the city of Toro with an emergency ambulance to strengthen healthcare in the region.

UPL is calling for the implementation of an agreement previously approved by the Cortes, specifically requesting the arrival of a Medicalized Emergency Unit (UME) or an Emergency Ambulance Unit (UEnE). While the regional parliament had previously approved a resolution to improve emergency healthcare resources, UPL representatives noted that the regional government has yet to establish a specific timeline for implementation. The regional Ministry of Health responded by citing general planning criteria without providing specific dates.
