Unión Española coach rules out Pablo Aránguiz for next match

Unión Española manager Ronald Fuentes has confirmed that midfielder Pablo Aránguiz will not participate in the upcoming match against Deportes Temuco at the Santa Laura stadium. Despite speculation regarding his return, Fuentes stated that Aránguiz only recently resumed training this week.

The decision stems from a desire to avoid risking the 29-year-old player following a muscle tear. Fuentes noted that Aránguiz’s current training load is insufficient for a match call-up. The club is currently navigating a difficult period in the Primera B tournament, having gone three matches without a victory.

Fuentes expressed hope for a more complete squad when the tournament resumes on October 4 with a pending match against San Luis. He indicated that Aránguiz, Mitchell Wasenne, and others recovering from injuries, such as Franco Rattotti and Angelo Araos, may be available for selection in the coming weeks.
