UNINASSAU conducts blood donation campaigns in Brazil

UNINASSAU has conducted blood donation campaigns in partnership with regional hematology centers in Brazil. In the Cariri region, a collaboration between UNINASSAU Juazeiro do Norte and the Hematology and Hemotherapy Center of Ceará (Hemoce) collected 96 blood bags over two days. The initiative attracted more than 124 candidates, including 51 new donors, and also encouraged bone marrow registration.

In Sergipe, UNINASSAU Aracaju is organizing a similar campaign in partnership with the Institute of Hemotherapy and Hematology of Sergipe (IHHS). The event is scheduled for September 8 and is open to both the academic community and the general public to help maintain essential blood supplies for local hospitals.
