União Desportiva do Songo to face Petro de Luanda in CAF Champions League

União Desportiva do Songo, the Mozambican national champion, has been drawn against Petro de Luanda in the first qualifying round of the CAF Champions League. The first leg of the matchup is scheduled to take place in Maputo between September 4 and 6, 2026, with the second leg set for September 11 to 13, 2026.

If União Desportiva do Songo advances past the Angolan side, they will face the winner of the preliminary round between Scotland FC of Zimbabwe and Nsingizini Hotspurs of Eswatini in October.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, ABB will face Atomic Ngomé from the Comoros Islands. The first leg is scheduled to be played away between September 4 and 6, 2026. A victory in this round would lead to a matchup against the winner of the tie between Panthère Sportive of Cameroon and Rayon Sports FC of Rwanda.
