União Seguradora and HAS Companies form strategic alliance in Brazil

União Seguradora and HAS Companies have established a strategic partnership aimed at modernizing the Brazilian insurance and assistance market. The alliance combines União Seguradora's century-old tradition with HAS Companies' international scale in risk management and health insurance.

The collaboration focuses on developing integrated products that combine protection, customer service, and technology, including telemedicine, travel insurance, and digital platforms. HAS Companies will leverage its global infrastructure—which includes 11 offices, over 1,200 employees, and more than 2 million annual telemedicine consultations supported by artificial intelligence—to enhance the Brazilian market offerings.

A key pillar of the expansion is the strengthening of distribution channels. Insurance brokers and advisory firms will receive operational support and digital tools for quoting, contracting, and management to foster business growth and innovation.
