Union Berlin and 1. FC Bocholt win summer test matches in Germany

Union Berlin defeated 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam 6‑2 in a summer preparation match on 11 July 2026 at the Orafol Arena. The German women’s side used the game to test defensive organization and integrate new players, acknowledging the high level of their opponent.

On the same day, 1. FC Bocholt beat SV Biemenhorst 6‑0 in a men’s test match at Biemenhorst. Coach Rino Capretti highlighted the team’s ball possession and goal‑scoring spread across several players, while noting injuries to two Biemenhorst players.

Both matches were part of the clubs’ pre‑season programmes ahead of the upcoming league campaigns.
