Union Brescia appeals ban on away fans for Pergolettese match

Union Brescia is filing an urgent appeal with the TAR (Regional Administrative Court) to contest a ban imposed by the Cremona Prefecture. The restriction prohibits residents of the Brescia province from purchasing tickets for the upcoming away match against Pergolettese at the Voltini Stadium on August 30.

The club argues the measure is unjustified, noting that a previous visit to the same stadium on February 16 resulted in a large turnout without any reported incidents. The club is seeking a modification of the decree before the match takes place.

This legal action follows a pattern of travel restrictions faced by Brescia supporters last season, which included bans on matches against Ospitaletto and Lumezzane. The club is citing legal precedents, such as a similar case involving Vicenza, where a court overturned a travel ban by ruling that past conflicts did not represent a current threat to public order.
