Union of Historical Cities holds assembly meeting in Kayseri

The Union of Historical Cities held its second ordinary assembly meeting for 2026 in Kayseri. Hosted by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, the event took place on September 18-19.

The program included representatives and mayors from various member municipalities across Turkey. During the assembly, Kayseri Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç welcomed the participants, highlighting the city's historical and cultural significance. Mansur Yavaş, President of the Union of Historical Cities and Mayor of Ankara, also addressed the attendees, praising the hospitality and organization of the event.
