Union Saint‑Gilloise starts pre‑season with 7‑0 win over Diegem Sport

Belgian first‑division club Union Saint‑Gilloise opened its pre‑season training camp with a dominant 7‑0 friendly victory against neighbouring Diegem Sport. The team, fresh from an active transfer window, fielded several new signings, including Chibani and Olaru, who featured early. Goals came from Sylla, Khalaili, Pavlic and Guilherme before halftime, putting the score at 0‑4. In the second half a reshuffled lineup added goals from David Hubert, Havenaar, Kricfalusi, Hurtevent, Biondic, Patris and Zorgane to complete the rout. Union will next face Romanian top‑flight side FCSB in another pre‑season test on 5 July.
