Unione Bassa Reggiana mayors visit youth civil protection camp

Mayors from the Unione Bassa Reggiana recently visited the ‘Anch’io sono la Protezione Civile’ school camp held at the Istituto Comprensivo in Gualtieri. The program, which runs until August 29, 2026, provides residential training for 50 young participants from various municipalities, including Gualtieri, Guastalla, Luzzara, Poviglio, Brescello, Boretto, and Reggiolo.

The initiative is a collaborative effort involving six civil protection associations and two municipal groups. The project saw high demand, with 65 applications for the 50 available spots. The camp is supported by a structured team of tutors, volunteers, and educators to ensure high educational and assistance standards.
