Unione Calcio Bisceglie advances as Soccer Trani is excluded from Coppa

The Court of Appeal has ruled in favor of Unione Calcio Bisceglie, resulting in the exclusion of Soccer Trani from the Coppa Italia Eccellenza. The decision overturns a previous ruling by the Puglia sports judge.

The court determined that defender Gian Marco Neri played in an irregular position during the first leg. It was found that Neri had not completed a suspension received during a Coppa Italia Serie C match while playing for Nuova Sondrio. Consequently, a 3-0 forfeit victory has been awarded to Bisceglie.
