Unipol Forum selected for 2026 European Volleyball Championship finals
The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) have announced the venues for the most critical matches of the 2026 European Men's Volleyball Championship. The Unipol Forum in Assago, located in the Milan province of Lombardy, has been selected to host the semi-finals on September 25 and the medal matches on September 26.
The championship is scheduled to take place from September 9 to 26, 2026, across four countries: Bulgaria, Finland, Romania, and Italy. The opening match will be held in Naples, while the final will take place in Milan.
Poland, the defending 2023 champions, is set to compete in a group featuring Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Portugal, and Israel. The Polish team is scheduled to begin their campaign on September 10 with a match against Portugal. Before the tournament, the team led by coach Nikola Grbić will participate in several exhibition matches, including the Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial in Krakow.
