UNIQA launches Romania's first bullying insurance clause

UNIQA has introduced a first-of-its-kind insurance clause in Romania specifically designed to address bullying. This additional coverage is available as an extension to the UNICASA home insurance product.

The clause covers acts of bullying committed by other minors and provides access to assessment services and psychological assistance for affected children. It aims to mitigate the emotional impact of school bullying, such as anxiety and social difficulties, by offering specialized counseling for children and guidance for parents on how to seek help.

The service is available to homeowners who have minor children enrolled in accredited educational institutions in Romania. According to Vice President Ramona Bernic, the initiative is intended to extend the scope of home insurance beyond property protection to support the emotional well-being of families.
