UNIQLO and KAWS announce new UT collection ‘KAWS UNIVERSE’

UNIQLO is launching a new UT collection titled ‘KAWS UNIVERSE’ in collaboration with contemporary artist KAWS. The collection is centered on the theme ‘We are better together,’ aiming to explore human connection across different cultures and generations.

In addition to the iconic COMPANION character, the collection introduces new characters inspired by universal motifs such as the Earth, Moon, and Sun. These designs are intended to represent themes of hope, warmth, and human connection. The apparel includes T-shirts and sweatshirts for both adults and children, featuring the artist’s signature ‘XX’ motif through embroidery and suede puff details. For the first time in a KAWS collaboration, the line will also include plush charms.

The collection is scheduled for release on September 14, 2026.
