Uniqlo renovates Kinshicho store with local collaborations

Uniqlo has expanded and renovated its Arcakit Kinshicho store in Tokyo, introducing a series of limited-edition ‘UTme!’ products that collaborate with local businesses and institutions from the Kinshicho area.

Among the participating companies are confectionery manufacturers Ginbis and Yaokin, both of which have historical roots in the district. The collaborations include designs such as Ginbis’s ‘Tabekko Doubutsu’ embroidery and Yaokin’s iconic snacks like ‘Umaibo’. Other local partners include the Sumida Hokusai Museum, featuring traditional woodblock print designs, and Kogon-yu, a local bathhouse.

The renovated store also marks the launch of ‘RE. UNIQLO STUDIO’, the company’s 18th location in Japan dedicated to garment repair and remake services.
