Uniqlo Setagaya Chitosedai to undergo renewal with new cafe and local services

The Uniqlo Setagaya Chitosedai store in Tokyo is scheduled to reopen on October 23, 2026, following a major renovation. Marking its 20th year since opening in 2007, the store will adopt a concept of being “more Setagaya-like” by integrating community-focused services.

Key additions include “UNIQLO COFFEE,” which will serve original blends alongside sweets from local confectioneries, and “UNIQLO FLOWER,” offering seasonal fresh flowers. The store will also feature a new play area for children and dedicated rest spaces to accommodate local families and shoppers.

To strengthen local ties, the store is launching exclusive “UTme!” collaborations. These include designs featuring characters from Odakyu Electric Railway and Keio Corporation appearing together for the first time, as well as collaborations with local publications like “Setagaya Life” to create community-themed apparel and coffee blends.
