UNIQLO to open new World Trade Center store in New York

UNIQLO is set to open a new retail location at the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan on Thursday, September 25. The store, situated at 185 Greenwich Street in the former H&M space, marks the brand's 11th location in New York City.

Opening weekend festivities include traditional Japanese Taiko drum performances and various promotional giveaways. The first 300 customers each day will receive a free knot bag, a travel case, and breakfast treats from Takahachi Bakery. Additionally, UNIQLO app members may be eligible for Lady M gift cards.

The new site will feature the UTme! print-on-demand service, offering custom T-shirts and tote bags, including exclusive MTA-themed designs by artist Lauren Martin. The location also hosts a RE.UNIQLO Studio, the 12th of its kind in the United States, which provides embroidery, clothing repairs, and upcycling services. Customers can also donate old UNIQLO clothing to Covenant House for recycling into new materials.
