Unirock Festival to take place in Puerto de Vega from Aug 28‑30

Puerto de Vega will host the Unirock music festival on 28, 29 and 30 August. The three‑day event follows the release of the documentary “El sonido de un pueblo,” which explores how the festival bridges generations through rock music.

The programme opens on Friday with a family‑friendly “Uniguajes” session at the old customs house, featuring a talk by documentary director Belén Lobeto, a children’s poster‑design workshop, face‑painting, games and a tribute to rock. Saturday’s main concerts include performances by Blister, Mala Reputación, Iron Savior, Uli Jon Roth and Skontra, as well as a street‑parade tribute with more than 160 musicians honoring Jaime López Gayol and Mario Herrero. The festival concludes on Sunday with a vermouth session by Farrapos de Ghaita and DJ WHITECLX.
