UNISA Bandung lecturers implement technology to boost MSME production
Lecturers from Universitas ‘Aisyiyah (UNISA) Bandung have assisted the Kremes Simadu MSME in Pasirhuni Village, Bandung Regency, by implementing appropriate technology to modernize production. Previously, the business relied on manual processes for peeling, slicing, frying, and packaging sweet potatoes, which limited production capacity during high demand.
Through a community service program funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology for 2026, the team introduced a sweet potato shredding machine. This intervention has increased production capacity by up to 40 percent, allowing the business to better meet market demands. The program, led by Minhajuddin, also included training in business management and governance to strengthen the enterprise.
