UNISSULA lecturer adopts interactive methods for Gen Z students

Friska Realita, a lecturer at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) in Semarang, is implementing new teaching methodologies to better engage Generation Z students. Moving away from traditional lecture-only formats, she utilizes short quizzes and real-world case studies to encourage active participation, critical analysis, and the connection of theory to practical situations.

This pedagogical shift follows her participation in the 2026 Inspiring Lecturer Program organized by ParagonCorp. The program included a bootcamp focused on reimagining classroom dynamics for the Gen Z era, emphasizing the necessity of thorough preparation and interactive presentation materials to maintain student interest.
