Uniswap launches Aggregator Hooks on Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain

Uniswap Labs has launched Aggregator Hooks, a new feature for Uniswap v4 that integrates external liquidity sources directly into the protocol. The update is live on the Ethereum mainnet, Base, and Robinhood Chain, covering more than 90% of decentralized exchange (DEX) activity across these three networks.

The technology allows Uniswap to route trades through seven external liquidity sources, making outside pools appear as native Uniswap v4 pools. This enables the protocol to collect fees from trades even when the liquidity is supplied by competing platforms. These collected fees contribute to the UNI token-burning mechanism, supporting the protocol’s broader economic initiatives.

When a user performs a swap via the Uniswap Web App, the router automatically pulls quotes from both Uniswap and the connected external sources to build the most efficient route. The entire process settles in a single transaction without requiring additional token approvals from the user.
