Uniswap (UNI) surges 13% amid record trading volume
Uniswap (UNI) has experienced a significant price surge, rising 13% to reach approximately $6.33, its highest level since early January. This growth comes as the token outperforms major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple, which have seen recent declines.
The rally is driven by record-breaking activity on the Uniswap trading platform. The protocol has processed its highest number of swaps over the last two days, with daily fees reaching $10.7 million. Over the past 30 days, traders have paid $111.15 million in fees, of which $9.19 million was retained by the protocol for UNI token buybacks and burns.
From a technical perspective, UNI is approaching critical support and resistance levels. Market analysts are monitoring whether the token can maintain a bullish structure through a breakout and retest, or if it will face rejection at current resistance zones.
