Uniti Group (NASDAQ: UNIT) reported a record quarter for fiber infrastructure bookings in Q2 2026, with total fiber revenue up 10 % year‑over‑year and fiber infrastructure revenue up 6 %. Demand was broad‑based, driven by AI‑related workloads, and sourced from neocloud customers (20 % of bookings), superscalers (18 %), hyperscalers (10 %) and fiber‑to‑the‑home providers (6 %). The company highlighted two large wave‑capacity deals—a 20‑terabit package for a neocloud client and an 18‑terabit package for a superscaler—while wave services accounted for the majority of the record bookings. Uniti’s pipeline now represents roughly 1.3 petabytes of traffic, underscoring the growing need for high‑bandwidth, low‑latency connectivity for AI applications.
