Unitalsi organizes Lourdes pilgrimages and cultural events

The Unitalsi organization, which assists the sick and disabled in traveling to international sanctuaries, continues its activities involving pilgrimages to Lourdes and cultural events.

In France, the musical “Bernadette de Lourdes,” which depicts the life of Bernadette Soubirous, has expanded internationally following massive success in France. The production recently debuted in Italy at Rome’s Auditorium Conciliazione as part of the Jubilee cultural events and is embarking on a national tour. The musical features a performance by 13-year-old Eva Molenmaker.

Simultaneously, Unitalsi sub-sections in Italy, including those from Padua, Treviso, and Bergamo, are organizing large-scale pilgrimages to Lourdes. These trips involve specialized trains equipped with medical staff, custom facilities, and chapels to accommodate passengers with severe physical disabilities, ensuring they can participate in religious traditions such as the candlelit processions.
