United Airlines flight evacuated in Denver after live bullet found

United Airlines Flight 1302, a Boeing 737-900 traveling from Denver to San Diego, was forced to evacuate at Denver International Airport after a live bullet was discovered during routine pre-taxi checks.

Passengers and six crew members were instructed to deplane with their carry-on luggage to allow security personnel to conduct a sweep of the aircraft. United Airlines confirmed the security breach, stating that the aircraft was cleared by security before eventually departing for San Diego approximately two hours after its scheduled takeoff.

It remains unclear how the ammunition ended up on the aircraft. This incident follows several recent ammunition-related discoveries on flights within the United States, including previous incidents involving United and Frontier Airlines.
