United Airlines launches new Incheon-Newark direct flight service

United Airlines has launched a new direct flight service connecting Incheon International Airport (ICN) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Starting September 5, the airline is operating the route seven times a week using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

The new service enhances the aviation network between Asia and North America. Newark serves as a major hub for United Airlines, providing connections to 84 domestic locations in the United States. This addition is expected to improve transit convenience for passengers traveling to the Eastern United States and Central and South America.

With this new route, the total number of direct flights between Incheon and the New York area has increased to four carriers, including Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Air Premia. The total number of direct flights from Incheon to the Americas has expanded to 287 weekly departures.
