United Airlines launches Tuxtla Gutiérrez-Houston international route

United Airlines has inaugurated a new international flight route connecting Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, to Houston, Texas. The service, which operates out of the Ángel Albino Corzo International Airport, is scheduled to run three times per week.

Chiapas Governor Eduardo Ramírez led the inaugural ceremony, stating that the connection is a strategic opportunity to boost investment, commerce, tourism, and cultural exchange between the state and the United States. The administration aims to increase flight frequencies by 2027 to further consolidate Chiapas as a global destination.

Rolf Meyer, United Airlines Sales Director for Mexico and the Caribbean, noted that the route strengthens Chiapas's connection to the world, facilitating easier access to the region's natural and cultural attractions.
