United Airlines to launch direct Ljubljana-Newark flights
United Airlines has announced the resumption of direct flights between Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport in New York. This marks the return of direct air connectivity between Slovenia and the United States after more than three decades.
The new service is scheduled to launch on May 12 next year, with flights operating four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The airline will utilize Boeing 767-400ER wide-body aircraft, which feature a 231-seat configuration.
Ljubljana becomes the third destination for United Airlines in the former Yugoslavia region, joining Split and Dubrovnik. Tickets for the new route are already available for purchase through the airline's official website and mobile application.
