United Association of Albanian Writers and Artists formed

The Writers and Artists Association of Albania and the Writers' Association of Kosovo have signed an agreement to establish the United Association of Albanian Writers and Artists (LBSHASH). Headquartered in Tirana, the new organization aims to institutionalize cooperation among Albanian creators, coordinate literary and artistic activities across Albanian-speaking spaces, and strengthen the international presence of Albanian culture.

During a meeting held in Pristina, Mujë Buçpapaj was elected President of the United Association, while Shyqri Galica was appointed Vice President. The leadership will include members from various Albanian territories. The association intends to operate in Albania, Kosovo, and other ethnic Albanian spaces in the Balkans and within the diaspora, while maintaining relations with international cultural and academic institutions.
