United Bodega Association of America launches new podcast
The United Bodega Association of America (UBA) has launched ‘Bodega Podcast,’ a new communication platform designed to support small business owners and bodega proprietors in the United States.
Presented in Upper Manhattan, the initiative aims to provide information, guidance, and increased visibility for small merchants. According to UBA President Radhamés Rodríguez, the platform will serve as a space for members to address industry challenges, share experiences, and access relevant business information.
Rodríguez noted that the UBA was founded eight years ago with only 10 members to organize bodega owners and defend their interests before public institutions. The organization has since grown to include hundreds of members, seeking to gain formal recognition for the sector's economic and social contributions, including job creation and tax payments.
